Calgary Event

In November 2024, The Sinneave Family Foundation and the team from the Accessibility Institute at Carleton University, co-hosted a hybrid event. Over 2-days, more than 90 people attended in-person and virtually, representing stakeholders from across the housing ecosystem.

The event had 3 hoped for outcomes for attendees:

  1. Recognize the elements (View or download PDF, 109 KB) that are important to consider when planning housing for Autistic people.

  2. Ability to make connections between the information shared and their own work, along with meeting new people and organizations.

  3. Identify opportunities to act individually and collectively to improve housing outcomes for Autistic people.

Note: this was an English-speaking event. All materials and videos created for and from the event are only available in English.
